Interference Pigments / Ghost Pigments

Interference pigments, also called ghost pigments or ghost powder, are mica powders that look white from straight on, but throw different colours, depending on the angle your view them at.  They can be in almost any colour and some throw a rainbow of iridescent colours! They are incredibly beautiful and can add an unexpected dimension to your artwork or eyeshadow or even nail polish.  Interference pigments are translucent, and it's important to know that you get the best effect by using a thin layer of pigment over a dark background.
